I have to admit when I first started to write the comic I wasn't "feeling" the characters until I wrote the next couple of scenes (all this week). Originally I had Bohrah be a total douche to Gobeck. Then I imagined, what if Gobeck and Bohrah had less of a mentor/ward (teacher/student) relationship and more of a grumpy old man/dorky teen friendship. It'd allow the kid to get away with doing things that would get most people clawed to death.

Bohrah: Oh Lookie here! I have gift to give you! Gonna give it to you when a servebot's cameras ain't on us.
Gobeck: Oh a gift? Give me! Is it a weapon?
Bohrah: It's a surprise. You have to wait – What.. what are you doing?
Gobeck: Pouting!
Bohrah: That's your best attempt?!
Gobeck: I don't have any cash to bribe you...So.. yeah.
