When I was much younger I used to love the various ways comics would bring a reader up to speed EVERY issue. Sometimes it was just so forced “Over there is Kitty Pryde. She's Jewish and walks through walls oh and she's dating Pete Wisdom but she used to be an X-man and dated Colossus.” It was great because it was editorial mandate and the writers would be so sarcastic about it. Sometimes you'd have a fight scene with characters saying things like “Character X use your MAGIC POWERS OF TELEPORTATION to move us across the field!”
So this very, very wordy revelation is my nod to those wastes of pages. Oh and Snarf gets introduced as a side thought. He's a major character, So I thought it'd be fun for him to be edged out of the entire comic for his introduction due to Loud Rod (who never gets named) babbling on.
Oh and I have nothing against slashers at all. So that's not why Loud Rod gets his man hymen broken.

Loud Rod: So when the Sword of Elements couldn't find the King or the Prince it destroyed the planet! What kind of Security System does that? King's Dead! Rocks Fall and Everyone Dies!
Bohrah: (claws are starting to emerge) ...

Gobeck (looking up in the direction he thinks Snarf is talking from) Hey Snarf! Come down here!
Loud Rod: With the Sword of Elements destroying the planet, the Eye needed a new master and took Bohrah as it's new champion so while the planet was exploding and killing everyone it-
Bohrah: What the FUCK do you know about it? You watched the Made for TV movie.
Loud Rod: And it was a Great Movie! I have this great Slash fic I wrote about you and your second in command.
Snarf: SNARF TO THE RESCUE!
Loud Rod: ANUS! (we'll let you guess what just happened)
Gobeck: :D
